About The Event
INT Aditya Birla Performing Arts Academy brings to you Aakhri Local.
Aakhri Local is a clean and warm comedy play set on the railway platform of Khoparkhairane.
It revolves around the conversation between two strangers, a carefree old blind man and a confused teenager who represents much of the dilemma faced by today's youth. Through a comical flow of circumstances, the old man attempts to shift the young man's life perspective from negative to positive, inspiring him towards a hopeful future.
As their conversation unfolds, they subtly become aware of the generational gap they share, both in their thinking and their actions. The play sensitively deals with today's issues around mental health, all with a touch of light-hearted comedy.
A hilarious flow of situations that makes one ask: does everything in life happen for a reason, or is everything just a coincidence?
