"Aapki Prarthana Kataar Mein Hai" is a satirical comedy that explores one of the great tragedies of our times: even as humankind has acquired every material comfort, it has drifted far from the true essence of life.
The play follows Vikal, who discovers a company in the city that prays on people's behalf, one that takes money from customers and channels their wishes to that unknown power known by many names, God, Allah, Waheguru, and more. The company claims a staggering 99 percent success rate in getting its customers' prayers answered.
Curious and hopeful, Vikal signs up for the service, and his prayer journey begins, joined by his wife Samriddhi and Aarti, an employee of the company (for how can there be a prayer without an aarti?).
