Havelis of Chandni Chowk: Stories Behind the Doors
A guided heritage walk through the historic lanes of Chandni Chowk exploring the grand havelis of Shahjahanabad. The walk introduces participants to the architectural and cultural heritage of old Delhi, once home to merchants, poets and noble families.
Through storytelling, the experience highlights the history of these havelis, their architectural features such as courtyards, jharokhas and wooden doors, and their transformation over time from the Mughal era to the present day.
The walk offers insights into the social, cultural and economic life of historic Delhi as participants explore selected haveli sites in the area.
Language of communication is Hindi and English.
