About The Event
A solo poetry and storytelling show by Mumbai based artist, actor, and writer Shailja Chaturvedi.
The show is built around a central philosophy: Jeene ka pehla niyam hai zinda rehna. The first rule of living is to stay alive.
Through a blend of raw and honest poetry and captivating storytelling, the show explores the suffocating boxes that society often places women in, the journey toward self discovery, and the strength to find and ground oneself.
A thoughtful social commentary on societal norms and prejudices, the show sometimes questions the so called civilised society and, above all, aims to share love, laughter, and courage.
