About The Event
Dinkar Desai suffers from dementia, and his memory is frozen on Thursday, the day he and his wife, Manjula, used to visit the Sai Baba temple.
He recognises Manjula as his wife only through her mangalsutra. His daughter, Swati, no longer exists in his memory, and, to him, she is merely a domestic help. His son, Deepak, who died years ago, is still alive in Dinkar’s mind and supposedly comes home every Saturday and Sunday.
To protect him from the truth, Manjula and Swati have stopped allowing Saturdays and Sundays to exist in their home. Every day is Thursday.
Outside, years pass. Inside, time stands still.
