As the world grows hotter, Viren, Shree, and their assistant Deepak arrive on the set of the reality show Tech Fever with a solution that could change everything. They present the Cool Pod – a revolutionary technology designed to protect people from the blistering heat of global warming.
If they can win over the audience, they stand to walk away with crores, global recognition and the chance to save millions of lives. But as ambition, entertainment and the climate crisis collide under the studio lights, their seemingly simple pitch begins to unravel. Will the Cool Pod offer a way out, or will the heat prove impossible to escape?
Sharp, playful, and politically charged, ‘Fever Dream’ turns the climate emergency into a reality-show spectacle, questioning how crisis, technology, and public opinion are packaged for mass consumption.
Created by tafreehwale in collaboration with Asar and Climate Culture Collective, the English satire is co-written by Meghana AT and Nayantara Nayar, and directed and produced by Meghana AT. It features Sarika Singh, Kashish Saluja and Jayesh Vavhal, with the voices of Mallika Shah and Vivek Madan. The production team includes Abhishek Patil and Mangesh Ingole, with lighting designed and operated by Swachchhand.
