About The Event
Ghost Story Night is an unscripted storytelling session in which event-goers sign up as either storytellers or listeners. Storytellers are given up to 10 minutes to narrate a ghost story (they can share their own story or the story of someone else) for the audience. The storytelling session will be followed by a social mixer. If you have ever enjoyed telling scary stories around the campfire, this is the event for you!
Slots are limited (especially storyteller slots), so sign up as soon as you can. We look forward to hearing Bangalore's very best fright night stories!
About the Collective
The Ghost Story Collective is a community-driven storytelling organization with a focus on raw, unscripted ghost story events. Instead of telling well-known ghost stories, we invite interested audience members to sign up as storytellers and to tell the story that has been haunting them (a la "Are You Afraid of the Dark," for any 90s TV fans). We believe that stories of the ghostly and supernatural speak to the inherent drama of our lives, and to the challenges of the societies in which we live. To that end, we hope to bring together a variety of people in Bangalore to tell their own ghost stories or stories of people they know, and thus, to reveal something frightening, truthful, and even beautiful about the world we inhabit.
