About The Event
Gods Lioness presents a new interpretation of Draupadi, exploring her as a woman of courage, desire and conviction. Rather than simply retelling her story, the play examines the choices she made, the consequences she faced and the questions of agency that remain relevant today. Combining English dialogue with movement, music, puppetry, masks and elements of Indian folk performance, it creates a visually striking and contemporary theatrical experience.
