Hair holds more than we realise. It holds memories of who we were, the people we loved, the versions of ourselves we outgrew and the moments that changed us forever.
A haircut that felt like a fresh start. A braid woven by your mother`s hands. A colour chosen in rebellion. Or the hair we held on to because we weren`t quite ready to let go of what it represented.
Through stories and poetry, Hair Holds Memories explores the intimate, unexpected ways our hair becomes a part of our lives. What begins with a strand of hair might lead us to a childhood home, a forgotten relationship, a family ritual, a moment of grief or the courage to begin again.
Join us for an evening of stories that look beyond the strands to uncover the people, emotions and experiences woven into them. Because sometimes, the smallest things carry the biggest stories.
