You and Me Productions presents HMT (Hindi Medium Tight) a one-man performance piece adapted from Prabhat Ranjan book of the same name. Set against the vibrant world of Delhi University Hindu College, HMT (Hindi Medium Tight) explores the experiences of students navigating a world where language, accents and confidence in English often become markers of social hierarchy. For those labelled as Hindi medium types, the struggle goes beyond language. It becomes a question of identity, belonging and self worth. Amid friendships, insecurities, rivalries and the desire to find recognition, the performance captures the humour and complexities of student life. Behind the laughter lies a sharp social commentary on language-based discrimination and the invisible boundaries created by education and social status. The performance explores how students living on the margins find their own ways to survive, connect and assert themselves.
At its heart, HMT (Hindi Medium Tight) is a celebration of resilience, friendship and the courage to laugh at the barriers that attempt to define us.
