About The Event
Every day, the world arrives at our doorstep in bold headlines. We glance, we scroll, we move on. Yet beneath the towering letters lie quieter stories - printed in smaller fonts, hidden between columns, waiting to be noticed. Stories that seldom trend, but linger in the lives of ordinary people.
'In Other News' is an invitation to turn the page differently.
Woven through multiple languages, movement, music, and theatrical imagery, Ekalavya Performing Arts and Picture Wicture Productions breathe life into these overlooked narratives. The stage becomes a newspaper where forgotten voices rise from the margins, where fleeting news transforms into enduring human experience.
In a world captivated by what is loud, 'In Other News' listens to what is whispered. It reminds us that beyond every headline lies another story - one that asks not merely to be read, but to be felt.
