About The Event
Jismaan Ton Paar (Beyond the Body) is a semi-autobiographical solo performance that follows Arjoon, a trans man, as he searches through memory, remembering, forgetting, questioning, and fact-checking the moments that have shaped his understanding of himself. Moving fluidly between childhood, adolescence, and the present, the performance unfolds non-linearly, much like life itself, where memories rarely arrive in sequence and meaning often emerges only through revisiting them.
The show duration is 60 minutes, followed by a 30 minute conversation/Q&A.

About The Yellow Man Stories
The Yellow Man Stories is a production company built on a simple belief: theatre can create real change. We tell stories of hope and resilience, stories that move beyond labels to embrace humanity, with patience, trust, love, and passion at the heart of everything we make. We hold space for voices that don`t always find room elsewhere, and we build initiatives that carry that work beyond the stage and into the world. Our first production, Jismaan Ton Paar, is a semi-autobiographical solo piece about the body, belonging, and the politics of public space. We`re taking it further, with the aim of performing it 100 times, carrying its story to as many rooms and people as we can.
