About The Event
"Ka Rusli Rakhumai" is a musical, light-hearted yet insightful drama that delves into the divine relationship between Goddess Rakhumai and Lord Vitthal. After 28 yugas of feeling neglected, Rakhumai is deeply annoyed with Vitthal, who has tirelessly devoted all his time to his devotees, leaving no space for their own sansar (married life).
One day, driven by curiosity and guilt, Vitthal disguises himself as Rakhumai's best friend to understand her pain. Through their intimate conversation, the audience is taken on a journey through powerful tales of saints like Sant Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Janabai, and others, the very bhaktas who became the reason for Rakhumai's loneliness.
The drama beautifully explores the tension between divine duty and personal love, portraying Rakhumai's longing not just as a wife, but as a symbol of the often-forgotten emotional world behind spiritual greatness.
