What would Montu say to Karl Marx?
KCC presents Montu O Marx, a Bengali production by Ichheymoto, written by Dhrubajyoti Chakraborty and featuring Saurav Palodhi.
Karl Marx finds himself in a Bengali neighbourhood, face to face with Montu, a working class man who understands the realities of labour and inequality through everyday life. As the two begin to talk, Marx's philosophy meets Montu's lived experience, raising questions about what these ideas mean beyond the pages of a book and who carries them forward.
