About The Event
A deeply personal story about the friendship between a young Muslim boy and a Hindu priest, Pandit Ki Daud M*** Tak is a reflection on memory, identity, belonging, and the invisible lines that shape our lives. Set against a backdrop of growing social and political divides, it explores what happens when the identities we inherit begin to matter more than the people we are. Through friendship, loss, and remembrance, the play asks what becomes of the idea of Hindustan when we stop seeing one another as human beings first, and whether compassion can still find a way through.
