About The Event
The journey of a small town boy through Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi unfolds against the backdrop of student protests, police action, and a growing atmosphere of fear and suspicion. As he witnesses these events, he begins to question the changing idea of Hindustan and the place of people like him within it.
These experiences take him back to his childhood in Aagar Malwa and his memories of Pandit Ji, whose friendship shaped his earliest understanding of humanity, affection, and belonging. Through these memories, he revisits a time when identities did not come between people.
Pandit Ki Daud M***** Tak moves between the unrest of Delhi and the memories of Malwa. It explores what has changed around us and what we risk losing when identity begins to matter more than the human being.
