Set in 16th-century Mewar, during a period of betrayal and royal turmoil, Panna Dhai brings to life one of the most celebrated sagas of loyalty and sacrifice in Indian history.
At its heart, this timeless story explores profound human emotions, particularly the agonising conflict between a mother`s unconditional love for her child and her unwavering duty towards her motherland.

Standing between the tyrant`s sword and the future of the kingdom is Panna Dhai, the royal nursemaid. Faced with an unimaginable dilemma, she makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect the prince. She secretly arranges his escape from the fort and places her own beloved son in the royal bed, allowing him to be mistaken for the prince. In doing so, she silently embraces a loss that no mother should ever have to endure.
