Pink Cycles is a one act, one woman show about a girl who is moving away from home after her grandfather dies. It deals with the struggle of holding on to things, and people, while feeling them slip away.
The show has a continuous stream-of-consciousness style, addressing the audience directly with a mixture of speech and movement pieces. It is written, directed, choreographed and performed by Aviendha Asati.
Aviendha Asati is an actor and senior year drama student at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. She has trained at the Experimental Theatre Wing and at Stonestreet Film and Television Studios.
