Mentored explorations and dramatic readings of contemporary Indian theatre texts! PlayRead is a study programme that aims to encourage young theatre practitioners to read, understand and engage with the rich theatre literature of India.
Three groups of 8 actors are provided with a curated selection of plays, which they study, analyse and rehearse over a week, culminating in a dramatic reading and presentation of their discussion. The groups are guided and mentored by theatre director, Sunil Shanbag.
