About The Event

The divine journey continues…

Presenting Rajadhiraaj Yatra – Krishna Leela Aapke Dwar, a compact yet uncompromised incarnation of Rajadhiraaj: Love, Life, Leela, the world’s first mega musical on the life of Shri Krishna.

After touching and transforming hearts in Mumbai, Delhi, and Dubai, Rajadhiraaj now steps into its next sacred chapter — Ahmedabad, from 2nd to 11th January at AUDA Auditorium, Shela.

A soulful celebration. A divine experience. A Leela that now arrives at your doorstep.

More than a theatrical showcase, Rajadhiraaj Yatra is a pilgrimage of devotion, art, culture, and spiritual emotion, bringing Shri Krishna’s eternal saga to the land inseparably connected to Dwarka and the legacy of Shrinathji.

Penned by Padma Shri awardee Prasoon Joshi, this musical breathes life into Shri Krishna’s grace, wisdom, strength, and leela, uniting his divine journeys as Shrinathji and as Rajadhiraaj Dwarkadheesh. The narrative spans Krishna’s transcendental odyssey from Vraj to Mewar, Mathura to Dwarka.

Under the meticulous vision of Director Shruti Sharma, the production reveals Shri Krishna in his fullest, the playful child of Gokul, the epitome of courage and dharma, the greatest philosopher, and the king who ruled with compassion. Executive Producer Bhoomi Nathwani shapes an unparalleled sensory experience that merges theatre, music and dance into one divine immersion.

A musical triumph, Rajadhiraaj features 20 original compositions by Sachin–Jigar, harmoniously blending Western symphony orchestra, Indian classical music, Haveli Sangeet, Gujarati and Rajasthani folk, and Hindustani semi-classical traditions - creating a timeless spiritual resonance.

To elevate the experience, Omung Kumar crafts the sets that recreate ancient Bharat and the celestial realms of Shri Krishna’s life, while Neeta Lulla dazzles with 1,800+ intricately detailed costumes and 5,000 handcrafted floral headgears, celebrating the splendor of Krishna’s world.

Choreographers Bertwin D’Souza and Shampa Gopikrishna breathe energy into each scene with movement rooted in classical, folk, and contemporary forms. With deep story research by National Award-winning writer Raam Mori and creative production by Parthiv Gohil and Viral Rachh, Rajadhiraaj Yatra becomes more than a musical, it becomes an emotional offering.

This January, Ahmedabad becomes the first sacred destination in the Rajadhiraaj Yatra, where audiences will witness, feel, and celebrate the divine love, life, and leela of Shri Krishna.
