Rumurumurumu is a devised piece on the sonic ancestry of Arai. It looks into the
mythology that the Arai (instrument) playing community carries with it, along with the Arai artists from Sira. It takes the mythology of the subaltern, mixes it with reality and presents a
contemporary adaptation of reality. Rumurumurumu delves into the lived reality that the sound itself carries with it, realities that are beyond words.
