An edgy, thrilling, satirical, and emotionally charged family drama intertwined with musical outbursts from its lovable characters, Saali Poori Ghar Waali is a study of the emotional relationship between Ghanti (Naveen Bawa), a loving husband, and Saali (Upasna Singh), who only asks for a little attention, love, and care in return. His only ambition is to somehow win back his wife's love and have a happy family.
But fate has a different design in store. After 12 years of marriage, Saali's younger sister Biwi (Vidisha Srivastava) visits them for the first time and discovers the emotional vacuum her sister has created in Ghanti's life, and soon, duty takes over desire. As Saali grows increasingly insecure, feeling threatened by her own sister possibly taking her place in the house, the household help Thappad (Yogesh Tripathy) becomes fuel to the fire. What follows is a fiery, unusual, and suspicion-filled relationship between all of them, sparking a rollercoaster ride of high-voltage drama where four souls become entangled by a single thread: misunderstanding.
