About The Event
Set across five seemingly unrelated worlds a doctors clinic, a family celebration, a middle class housing society, a womens rights organisation and a theatre rehearsal Teen Tumhari Taraf offers a sharp and humorous look at urban life. Its characters readily identify the faults of doctors, families, activists, neighbours, politicians and artists while remaining blind to their own contradictions. Through familiar situations and sharp dialogue, the play exposes the gap between the ideals people proclaim and the values they actually practise.
