About The Event
Things They Could Not Hear
Grief doesn`t break people all at once. It changes them quietly. The way they speak, the way they sit at a table, the way they love.
Arnab and Chitra have loved each other for years. They still do. But since the loss, something between them has gone silent, and neither knows how to find it again.
Things They Could Not Hear is a deeply emotional play, inspired by Jhumpa Lahiri`s short story, A Temporary Matter, about what grief does to the people we love, and to the love itself.
It speaks about the things we carry alone because saying them would hurt too much. And about the hardest question love can ask: what do you hold on to, and what do you let go?
Come with an open heart. Leave with someone you`ll want to call.
A two-hander in Hindi and English. Written and directed by Dev Surana. Presented by The Fourth Wall Collective.
