About The Event
Four friends set out on a trip in search of adventure and a break from their routine. As night falls, they find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar place with no hotel or shelter available. Their search eventually leads them to an isolated house, where they decide to spend the night.
At first, everything appears ordinary. However, as the hours pass, unsettling incidents begin to unfold, making them question the true nature of the house. When they attempt to leave, they discover that escape is impossible. Trapped within its walls, they uncover the house's terrifying secret: anyone who chooses to spend a night there must pay a toll. The price is not money—it is a human life.
As fear, suspicion, and desperation consume the group, the friends are forced to confront an impossible choice: sacrifice one among them or face the consequences together. The play explores themes of survival, morality, and the terrifying cost of human decisions, culminating in a chilling climax where one life must be offered to satisfy the house's sinister rule.
