Adam LeFevre is an American character actor, poet and playwright and works in cinema, television, theater and commercials. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Albany, New York, the son of Helen, a hospital patient representative, and Ira Deyo LeFevre, a physician. He has a graduate degree from both the Iowa Playwrights Workshop and the Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa. He got married to Cora Ann Bennett, in 1979 and has two children, Isaac Bennett LeFevre and Tate Augusta Bennett LeFevre. He has appeared on Law & Order (1990) and its two spin-offs a total of 12 times, playing eleven different characters over 16 years. He appeared as Farley in the off-Broadway production of Him at Primary Stages and his noted works are The Lucky One, Hitch and She's Out of My League.
