Some of you might know Akhilendra Mishra as Kroor Singh from the fantasy tv series Chandrakanta, while some might best remember him for his portrayal of the characters Arjan in Lagaan (2001) and Chandrashekhar Azad in The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002). The actor, whose showbiz career spans around three decades, has appeared in over 50 feature films and numerous tv shows, primarily in supporting roles. The Salman Khan starrer Veergati (1995) and the Aamir Khan starrer Sarfarosh (1999) are some of Mishra`s other significant acting credits during the 1990s, while his performance in Lagaan (2001) earned the actor wider mainstream attention.

Other notable acting credits include the romantic drama Veer-Zaara (2004), Hulchul (2004), the crime thriller Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), the comedy-drama Do Dooni Chaar (2010) and the 2008 tv series Ramayana, where he essayed the role of Ravana.
