English actor Alex Sharp first rose to prominence in 2014, for his portrayal of an autistic teenager in the Broadway adaptation of the acclaimed novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. The performance earned him a Tony Award for Best Actor that year. In 2018, Sharp made his Hollywood debut with the Netflix drama film To the Bone.


The sci-fi romantic comedy How to Talk to Girls at Parties (2017) and the action comedy Better Start Running (2018) are some of his other notable film credits. In 2019, Sharp appeared in the comedy film The Hustle, which featured Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson in the lead roles.
