An Indian writer and director, Anil Kumar is noted for his work in the south Indian film industry, especially in the Telugu and Kannada cinema. Having started his career as a writer, he made his directorial debut with Shakti in 2012. His other notable directorial ventures include Dilwala, Krishna-Rukku (2016), and Raambo 2 (2018), an action comedy thriller starring Sharan, Ashika Ranganath, Chikkanna and Aindrita Ray.
