Anil Pandey is a story and screenplay writer who has worked in several movies like Ugly Aur Pagli, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, and Calendar Girls. As a lyricist, he was associated with the movies Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... and Issaq, and co-directed the 2016 film Gandhiji My Mentor. His 2017 venture as a story and screenplay writer includes Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari starrer Indu Sarkar, under the direction of Madhur Bhandarkar.
