BIOGRAPHY

One of the most desirable singers of Indian cinema, Benny Dayal has lent his voice for songs across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Gujarati songs. He received The RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for the song Kaise Mujhe Tum from Ghajini at The 54th Filmfare Awards. The super hit number `Pappu Can`t Dance` from the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na won him the Max Stardust Award for New Musical Sensation (2009). In his playback singing career, he has collaborated with several renowned music directors such as A. R. Rahman, G. V. Prakash Kumar, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh Ravichander, Sajid-Wajid, Devi Sri Prasad, Anoop Rubens, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal-Shekhar, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. His most popular songs include `Balleilakka`, `Omana Penne`, `Tamil Pasanga`, `Chalmaar`, `Naanum Rowdydhaan`, `Rehna Tu`, `Pocket Mein Rocket`, `Illeana`, `Daaru Desi`, `Badtameez Dil` and `Ude Dil Befikre`. Benny`s 2017 venture includes the song titled `Trippy Trippy` from the Sanjay Dutt starrer Bhoomi, in collaboration with music director duo Sachin-Jigar, along with co-singers like Neha Kakkar and Badshah. His other releases include the Malayalam movies, My Story, Koode, Super Duper and Tattaad.
