Neeti Mohan is from Delhi and the eldest of four sisters, all of whom have entered the entertainment industry. Her sisters Shakti, Mukti, and Kriti are all known figures on the television and film circuit. Neeti was one of the winners on the Channel V talent hunt show Popstars Season 2 (2003), and as per the format of the show she subsequently went on to form the Indian pop group `Aasma` with the other winners of the show. The year 2004 saw the group release back-to-back songs which included the chartbuster "Chandu Ke Chacha". Thereafter, they did not release any music as a group. However, she has gone on to sing for a number of Bollywood movies.
Her best works include "Ishq Wala Love" from
Student of the Year (2012), "Jiya Re" from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), "Tune Maari Entriyan" from
Gunday (2014). Her 2017 projects include the comedy Mubarakan, directed by Anees Bazmee and the musical thriller
Lucknow Central, directed by Ranjit Tiwari.
She is also associated with the 2018 romantic comedy Dil Juunglee, which featured Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem.
