An American theater and film actor, Billy Magnussen is noted for his work in Hollywood cinema. Magnussen, an alumnus of the North Carolina School of the Arts made his professional acting debut with a Broadway play, The Ritz in 2007 before eventually making his debut in a feature film with Twelve (2010), an American-French action drama film directed by Joel Schumacher.
Following his debut film, Magnussen subsequently starred in many films, even as he continued to do theater. Few of his most notable films include Twelve (2010), Surviving Family (2012), Into the Woods (2014), Bridge of Spies (2015), and Birth of the Dragon, a fictional account of Bruce Lee. The movie directed by George Nolfi was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016 and released in the theaters in August 2017. His other notable releases include Game Night (2018) and Disney`s Aladdin (2019).
