Cameron Diaz is an American actress and a former model born in San Diego, California. By the age of 17, she was already a successful fashion model and was signed on by major brands such as Coca Cola, Calvin Klein and Levi`s. After doing a considerable amount of work in the fashion industry around the world, she made a debut with The Mask (1994). The movie went on to become one of the most iconic comedy films of all time, as well as being one of the top grosses of the year.

Her outstanding debut was followed by a slew of successful movies such as She`s The One (1996), Head Above Water (1996) and My Best Friend`s Wedding (1997) for which she won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. Her performance in Being John Malkovich (1999) won her multiple accolades, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, BAFTA Award and Satellite Award for Best Actress. Some of her iconic performances were seen in films such as Charlie`s Angels (2000), Shrek (2001), and Gangs of New York (2002). In spite of garnering mixed reviews, Knight and Day (2010) went on to become one of the highest-grossing films worldwide. In 2013, she appeared in the comedy film Gambit that stars Colin Firth and Alan Rickman. Her 2014 releases include Sex Tape and Annie.
