Carmen Ejogo is a British actress and singer who began her career in the 1990s as a host of the Saturday Disney morning show. She later went on to appear in movies such as Love`s Labour`s Lost (2000), Perfume (2001), Boycott (2001), and Alex Cross (2012). In 2014, she won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in Motion Picture and Black Reel Award for Best Supporting Actor for her performance in the movie Selma. She also essayed the role of President Seraphina Picquery in the sequel to the Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). Her releases include the movies It Comes At Night and Alien: Covenant (2017), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), Dolittle (2020) and Roman J. Israel, Esq (2020)
