American actress, director and producer Elizabeth Banks made her acting debut in the 1998 independent movie Surrender Dorothy, and has since appeared in over 50 films in the course of a career spanning around two decades. Some of her most memorable performances have come in the sports drama Seabiscuit (2003), Sam Raimi`s Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007), the romantic comedy-drama Definitely, Maybe (2008), The Hunger Games film series (2012-2015) and the Pitch Perfect series (2012-2017). Besides acting, Banks has also forayed into both direction and production, primarily through the Pitch Perfect series.
