The Chennai-born Harris Jayaraj is one of the most prominent music composers in the South industry. Although he is predominantly a part of the Tamil film industry, he has also composed music for Telugu and Hindi language movies. Having won several awards, some of his award-winning compositions have been for movies such as Minnale (2001), Kaakha Kaakha (2003), Anniyan (2005), Ghajini (2005), and Vaaranam Aayiram (2008) to name a few. Jayaraj is also associated with movies like SI III (2017), Sambhavami (2017), Vanamagan (2017), Dev (2019), Kaappaan (2019), and Dhruva Natchathiram (2020).
