The voice behind one of Madhuri Dixit's most popular songs 'Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai?', Ila Arun is an Indian playback singer, folk/folk-pop singer, and actress. While she has released hit independent songs such as Mera Assi Kali ka Ghagra, Darudi, Bichuda, and Main Raatan Jagi, she has lent her voice for blockbuster tracks like 'Morni Baaga Ma Bole' from Lamhe, 'Gup Chup Gup Chup' from Karan Arjun, and 'Ringa Ringa' from Slumdog Millionaire to name a few. The singer with a distinctive voice has also acted in supporting roles in movies, making her role rather prominent in such as Jodha Akbar, Well Done Abba, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Begum Jaan, Manto and Ghoomketu.
