Kranthi Madhav is an Indian writer, director, and producer best known for the movie Onamalu for which he received the CineMAA Award for Best Debut Director. A graduate of Mass Communication from the Manipal University, Kranthi wanted to become a journalist. However, it was his professor A.F. Mathews who introduced him to filmmaking.

After developing an interest in movies, Kranthi went to Hyderabad and then worked with Priya Dutt on few of her films. Later, after working with several production houses, he made his directorial debut in 2013 with the movie Onamalu. He next directed the movie Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju in 2017. His 2017 projects includes the movie Ungarala Rambabu starring Miya George, Sunil Varma Indukuri, and Ashish Vidyarthi. His 2020 release includes World Famous Lover.
