Madeline Kahn’s career as an actor, is known for her comedic roles. She has made her Broadway debut in Leonard Sillman's New Faces of 1968. She has worked with the directors Peter Bogdanovich and Mel Brooks. Her film credits include Blazing Saddles, Clue and Young Frankenstein. She has received a number of awards such as Daytime Emmy and KCFCC Award. She died of complication of an ovarian cancer, at age of 57, on December 3, 1999 in New York City.
