Mani kaul (deceased) was an Indian director, actor and writer born on December 25th, 1944 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan (India). He made his directorial debut with “Uski Roti” 1970 which was awarded for Filmfare Critics award for The Best Movie. Later he directed several other movies and won the National Film Award for Best Direction in 1974 for “Duvidha” and for documentary film Siddheshwari.Some of his popular works are Satah Se Uthata Admi ,Siddheshwari,Idiot ,Nazar and Naukar Ki Kameez.
