Max Borenstein is an American writer and director who made his debut in 2003, while he was still studying at Yale University. The debut, Swordswallowers and Thin Men, won him the Best Feature and Best Screenplay at the New York Independent Film Festival and was also named Best First Feature 2003 by Los Angeles Times critic Kevin Thomas. Over the years, Borenstein has worked on notable credits including Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Worth (2020) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).
