Michael Kahn is an American film editor who is primarily known for his collaboration with the director Steven Spielberg. Michael has been nominated eight times for Academy Award under the category Best Film Editing, out of which he won thrice. He has also won the BAFTA award twice for Best Editing. Some of the best work from his filmography are Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Fatal Attraction, Empire of the Sun, Schindler`s List, Saving Private Ryan, Munich, and Bridge of Spies. Kahn`s 2018 releases include The Post and Ready Player One.
