Son of yesteryear Kannada actor Sudhir and his wife Malathu Sudhir, Nanda Kishore is a Kannada movie director, who started his career with the 2013 Kannada comedy Victory, which was inspired from the 1978 British movie The Odd Job. The movie was then remade in Telugu in 2016 and was titled Selfie Raja. Following his debut, he directed Adyaksha, which is a remake of the Tamil movie Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Ranna, which is a remake of the Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi, and Mukunda Murari, which is remade from the Hindi movie OMG - Oh My God!. In 2017, he directed the action movie Tiger, starring Pradeep and Madhuurima in the lead. His 2018 release includes Bruhaspati, the Kannada re-make of the 2014 Tamil movie, VIP.

In 2021, he directed Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pogaru.
