Tharun Kishore Sudhir is an Indian actor, writer and director, who works predominantly in the Kannada film industry. Though known for his direction, his first foray into the film industry was as a child actor in Ganeshana Maduve (1990). More than a decade later he played a role in Excuse Me (2003), after which he got roles in several films like Chappale (2004), Vishnu Sena (2005), Jothe Jotheyali (2006), and Navagraha (2008). In 2012 he worked as a co-director and writer for Rambo and thereafter continued to write for films. But his big break was his directorial debut Chowka (2017), a film for which he won the Best Debut Director Filmfare Award South. His other releases include Roberrt, Kaatera which star Darshan Thoogudeep in the lead role.
