Nandana Sen is a film actress born in New Delhi, India. She is the daughter of Nobel Laureate and Bharat Ratna recipient, Amartya Sen and renowned writer, Nabanita Dev Sen. Nandana graduated from the Harvard University with a degree in literature. She then went on to learn acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, New York and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She made her professional debut with the Italian film, Branchie (1999), which was followed by a couple of short films. Nandana made her big entry into Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Black (2005), where her performance was appreciated by the audiences and critics alike. In same year, she also received rave reviews for her roles in My Wife`s Murder and Tango Charlie. With a career spanning over 15 years, Nandana has been a part of 22 projects which include Marigold (2007), Perfect Mismatch (2009) and Prince (2010) . She was last seen in Jhootha Hi Sahi (2010) and her next release Rang Rasiya is slated to release November, 2014.
