Nigel Akkara is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. Nigel was imprisoned at the age of 21 on kidnapping charges and after his release, he became an actor, making his debut with the 2012 movie Muktodhara. His other popular films include Yoddha: The Warrior (2014), Rajkahini (2015) and Asamapta (2017). His 2019 releases include the Bengali film Gotro, directed by Nandita Roy.
