A versatile artist, Nikki Blonsky is an American actress, singer, and dancer who is best known for her role as Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 film Hairspray and as Maggie Baker in Queen Sized (2008). The actress who has a Czech and Irish lineage developed a keen interest for singing at a very young age; she started singing when she as just three and started taking professional singing lessons when she was just 8-year-old.

The actress had an excellent start to her acting career, she not only won many awards including the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Young Performer and Palm Springs International Film Festival for Rising Star but also won wide appreciation from both critics and audience for her stellar performance in her maiden feature film, Harispray (2007). The actress, over the years, has starred in films like Harold (2008), The English Teacher (2012), Geography Club (2013), and The Last Movie Star (2018), an English drama directed by Adam Rifkin.
