Best known for his Emmy-nominated portrayal of the corrupt, psychopathic officer George "Pornstache" Mendez in the acclaimed comedy-drama series Orange is the New Black, Pablo Schreiber is a Canadian film, stage and television actor and the half-brother of actor Liev Schreiber. After graduating with a degree in theatre, Schreiber made his feature film debut in the 2001 comedy Bubble Boy, and has since appeared in around thirty movies and numerous tv shows, primarily in supporting roles.

The sci-fi political thriller The Manchurian Candidate (2004), the comedy-drama Happythankyoumoreplease (2010) and the biographical war film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016) are some of the actor's most notable film credits; while his portrayal of Nick Sobotka in The Wire and Mad Sweeney in American Gods have earned the actor considerable popularity on television.
