Philippa Boyens is a screenwriter and producer started her career as screenwriter for the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and also co-produced the 2005 movie King Kong. Philippa shared the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in 2004.
